Tristan Pollock reviews Social Earth as using innovations to discover social change

In my Web 2.0 search for the cup of socially conscious life I have found many great sites, some of which I have already highlighted in previous posts (USAServe.orgAshoka.org, etc.).

SocialEarth.org is a new breed of social information. They are motivated to inform the world about all the great works that social change organizations are doing. Compare them to TechCrunch, but of all things good.

I recently met the founders of SocialEarth, Erik and Naiomi, who are semi-recent grads from the University of Minnesota. I was inspired by their motivation to promote change. This was their second venture, the first aiming to help teens in poor countries afford and attend college. They both agreed that it was time to get the world back on track from a derailing over-capitalistic economy.

I couldn't agree more.
